I ran with the horse in a state of oneness
As Told By Seung-jong Kim (51/M)
(Translated by Marshal Yun and Stuart Smallwood)
In the beginning, His Holiness the Jongdosanim said that He would bestow us with a different kind of dynamic meditation. It was a new mantra called “Jigi-guemji wonwee-daegang.” I followed the sacred voice of His Holiness the Jongdosanim intensively. As my spiritual eyes opened, I saw a large wavy ocean.
When the meditation changed to the Taeeulju mantra, I saw an open grassland which looked liked a field of reeds. White and grayish clouds were floating in what was a dusk red sky.
Suddenly, I found myself riding a horse in the open grassland in a state of oneness. All of a sudden, the horse was running alone. Then the horse looked back at me as if to say “follow me.” I chased after the horse as fast as I could, panting and short of breath. When I looked back, there were many practitioners who were also chasing after the horse. As the sunset was reddening the prairie, the meditation stopped.
